Swing or Sliding Doors: Start with Your Room
My 1 Concept offers swing and sliding door wardrobes. A wardrobe needs to work with the space around your bed, bedroom door and other furniture.
Swing doors need clear space in front of the wardrobe to open. With sliding doors, how much of the wardrobe you can reach at once depends on the layout, so think about which sections you use most.
Discuss the door style alongside your room layout, rather than choosing it from a picture alone.
- Show the space between the wardrobe and your bed.
- Mark nearby doors, windows and switches on your plan.
- Share whether you prefer swing or sliding doors, or would like to compare both.
